You might be wondering what is the difference between download, subscription and rental?

• There are 1000's of audiobook websites...how do you know you're getting a good one?
• Download, subscription and rental are three different ways to purchase audiobooks online...

Before you buy your mp3 audio books, here's a free tip... make sure you read the print:

• Download provides consumers audiobooks ala carte, meaning you pay for each track or item that you download. The license to play back that content does not expire since you now own the audiobooks.
• Subscription services usually offer the consumer an unlimited number of audiobooks from their entire library for downloading and charge you a set monthly fee. The license to play back that content is good as long as you pay the monthly subscription fee.
• Subscription also means that you can transfer content from the online stores library and sync it to your device.
• Rental is similar to subscription whereby you download the audiobooks and the license to play back that media is good for a set time period but after that time period the license expires and you can no longer view the file.
